Hi Agustin. Am enjoying your Beatle's vids very much. I was brought up in the Liverpool area and my father was also. I'd like to share a little story with you from when my Dad played with PMc. Dad was an Armature Winder by trade and did his apprenticeship in a place called Massey Coggins an electrical motor repair works. He told me that whilst he was there PMc also began working there for a short period. Dad's memory of Paul was when the young lads would sit on the metal fire escape for their lunch. Paul struck up a skiffle tune which the rest joined in using their empty plates and cutlery as percussion. Soon after John turned up and Paul left never to return. Dad used to attend the Cavern using his friend's membership card which I still have, this was pre-Beatles when skiffle was the 'in' thing. So in essence my Dad played with Paul Mc lol

It's a great video. I hope to go to John and Paul's childhood homes next year. My family and I went to Liverpool for the second time in February 2020. We first went in 2011. We went to The Beatles Story and it was great. We also went to the Tate Modern and The Museum of Liverpool. The next morning, I went to The British Music Experience. John Lennon lived in such a classy house, in a very classy neighborhood, with such classy relatives and folk compared to the other 3 BeeTulz. He lived there for about 18 years, when Beatlemania hit. And it stayed in the family until the National Trust took over responsibility, and establishing it as a Listed Grade II building. And now I guess it's open to the public for tours?

Paul has the original piano himself, that his dad bought from what turned out to be Brian Epstein’s NEMS music shop, so an identical piano was put into Forthlin in its place. Paul has used his dad’s old piano to write new songs. It’s a very, very good thing that the house doesn’t have a blue plaque yet. Once Paul reaches his next birthday, the date for its installation will be set to June 18, 2042, commemorating the 100 year anniversary of Paul’s birth. With luck, he’ll actually live past 100 so he can be there.

In the fifties In Australia there were lots of housing estates that had prefabricated houses, original flat packs pre IKEA, built in England. When I toured Paul’s council house I saw the same doors, tap ware and plumbing and other fitments our family had in Australia. The houses were compact, well designed and comfortable. Our family at that point squeezed in with six children and two parents, into a three bedroomer.

The astonishing thing about this ordinary little council house in a less well off suburb of a northern English city, is that it was a birthplace of a musical phenomenon that affected the whole planet. There were a lot of objections to the National Trust buying this house as some of the crustier and snobbier members seem to believe the role of this organisation was to preserve the stately piles of the aristocracy and the posh homes of artists, writers and poets. How wrong they were! It's a great place to visit, as is John's childhood home at Menlove Avenue in Liverpool, also preserved by the National Trust, but owned by Yoko Ono.

In John Lennon's former home, the parent's bedroom is described as 'a private room for the tour guides'. I expect the same is true at McCartney's house. [My guess is that they also store all the modern cleaning equipment that would be out of place in the public parts of the houses in the parents/aunt and uncle's rooms].

Whilst Paul and George were definitively working class, however with the exception of Ringo's more representive of the working poor impoverished situation in Dingle, notably from the age of 6 when the Harrisons moved to the Upton Green house on a circular drive with a common in front in Speke, both George and Paul were as well off as most workign class families in austerity Britain, and in better residential living circumstances than a great many. John OTOH never lived in working class circumstances regardless the noise he later made about it. John's rebelliousness and in particular disrespect of 'Mimi' in his youth illustrated a side of his nature less than admirable to me, although it is acknowledged that he later came to recognise and address that behaviour in maturity. I had an Aunt and Uncle very much like 'Mimi' and George albeit they weren't childless, and would have left my Juliaesque 'mother' in a heartbeat to live with them had it been an option open to me.

The reason for the National Trust not allowing internal filming or photography at the houses is because the photos on display belong to the MCCartney and Lennon family. They are on loan conditional to them not being reproduced. If they are there is a real risk that they will be removed. So by ignoring the clear and simple guidance you put at risk the ability for others to enjoy them. Rules are there for a reason.

BS. That's the real McCartney. You have been taken in by a conspiracy theory. Don't you think his brother, Mike McGear, would know if he was dead? Yet he said at the time that it wasn't true. John Lennon said, "If Paul was dead, I think I would know. He's alive". And what about all the people who knew McCartney before and after 1966? None of them noticed the supposed difference? What about Brian Epstein? What about George Martin? And please don't say, as many conspiracy theorists do, that they were all threatened with death by MI5 if they "spoke out". What about death bed revelations? Not a single one in over 50 years? Ringo said at the time " I keep telling everyone he's alive. But some people don't want to believe it." The so-called "clues" were all a joke.
