Interesting look into the pit. Like the other man has asked, if it's only cooling the heads, don't you have warping problems. Or is the wear rate of heads so rapid they are trash soon anyway🤔😕😳. Interesting. Do you ever worry about issues with a hot block cracking or warping with the rapid cooling?

They don't do this when the engine is hot. They do it when getting ready for the next run. They are trying get the temp optimal.

@@WFORadio he just showed that the water was hot and the engine was warm. They do this between runs. Obviously it's not a problem I was just curious if they have to take that into consideration.

Engine isn’t that hot . It’s warm so the cold doesn’t hurt it at all

🟥🟥🟥 What about thermal expansion of pistons and rings for a better compression seal? Just curious if that comes into play.🤔🤔🤔

That's factored into the tolerances when they machine it.

No antifreez?? Only water?

Yes only water. Antifreeze is not allowed because if you blow up an engine or crack a radiator, the antifreeze is so slick that you will slide out if it gets under the tire. Also it’s super hard to clean off the track.
