I've never watched a rhony episode but I like her energy! I did see her last apartment tour and liked it, and this one seems like sh'es exploring her design aesthetic even further. Very femme and romantic, great vintage pieces, but it looks comfortable and not overly precious or styled.

Love it and I'm so confused! She rents, and has put a ton of money into it- added crown molding, painted (not just walls, molding too!), and wall papered! When you move out, do you just leave it all as is and forfeit your security deposit (like she mentioned)? Is this common in NYC?

It’s common here. For her to go through the trouble of decorating to this extent is an indication that she’s intending to keep renting the space long term. People put up flex walls too but you have to get it approved by management.

I LOVE this apartment but as a European, the concept of spending lots of money to personalise an apartment you’re renting is BAFFLING to me. Especially when you’re going to have to spend loads of money to turn it back to how it was when you move out

She’s most likely going to lease it out long term. That’s why she didn’t put as much effort in her first and went all out in this one. A lot of us in NYC typically don’t move unless the rent is unbearable. So she’s probably gonna be there a while. And the changes she made are renter friendly. It can easily be reversed.

As she gets settled into this apartment, I'd love to see more layered decor, souvenirs from her travels, and items that tell her story (maybe photos of her from her youth, or of places that are significant to her). That would also make the home feel more "real"
