The Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed, officially the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin on the Moat (also Pokrovsky Cathedral, Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat) is an Orthodox church on Red Square in Moscow. It is one of the most significant monuments of ancient Russian architecture of the 16th century. The cathedral was built in 1555-1561 by order of Tsar Ivan the Terrible in honor of the conquest of the Kazan Kingdom.

Hi Valeria, it has always been my dream to visit St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. Thank you for showing me what it is like both inside and out - its beautiful. I love this time of year when the sun is low and its light illuminates the buildings making them glow. Red Square is beautiful.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful, I so wish I didn't have a fear of flying, otherwise I would be visiting all these beautiful places in Russia. New Zealand is a long way away. I will have to take a ship to Japan, then a ferry across to Vladivostok, then then the trans Siberian railway across to Moscow. It's doable!!!! Thankyou Valerie 🌿

The Cathedral in Red Square is beautiful Is it possible to take us inside? You could be earning so much more money by just doing a few extra things. There is another KZbinr from Russia that I also keep up with. His channel name is "The Sheekoz Family". His name is Dan and his wife is Susie. Watch a few of his videos. He shows the same kind of videos you do and has done very well with his channel. I would send you a link but I don't think KZbin will let a live link go through for security purposes. I'll see you in the next one.
