Wonderful video! It's always a pleasure to hang out with you, Alex and Sheffield. Even on video Sheffield has a calming effect. Great teamwork in making the ghost costumes and using them to make the ghost bushes. You have done everything possible to protect your dacha plants through the winter imho. I hope your mother enjoys the grapes! Thank you, Valeria and Alex!

Grape vines is what we call them here. I hope everything makes it through the winter, I think it’s going to be a hard winter this year. Canada and Russia get similar weather in this Northern Hemisphere. Brrrrr❄️🌬️🌊❄️

I grew up in NY and we had fig tree. Every Fall my father cut back these trees, wrapped them in blankets and, since they were in large pots, he would roll them into the garage for the Winter. This video brought back memories of getting the fig trees ready.

Thank you for reminding me to protect my garden too. I live in the US Pacific Northwest and our winds on the coast are expected to be 50 mph tonight. We must stake and tie down everything or the garden flies away! Here's to a pleasant winter season!

Good job, protecting the trees and grape vine from the winter weather. Where I live we don't have to be concerned with such cold winters as you have. I would love for the weather to get a bit colder here, but it rarely does. Take care and be well! xx

Always love to watch you work on your Docha. I forgot how my grandma took care of her grapes in between seasons. She had green and Concord grapes. Blessed with end of season grapes. Hate to see your winter come. So cold and messy roads and sidewalks. In our city normally we get our snow in February.

We don't have to do such preps in most of Australia, Certainly not here in the west. This makes it interesting for me to see these videos, how they other half live. Winter time is just a bit chilly. We are heading into summer time.
