We flew into Miami from South Africa. My husband's laptop bag was scanned and something odd, resembling a snake showed up. Pulled us aside and unpacked the bag. It was his laptop charger 😂 The airport security as well as us, all had a good laugh.

I worked at an airport working as passenger assistance, passengers aren't able to bring certain food/drink items with them but my coworkers showed me a sneaky way around that. They would go out of an employee door leading to the runway area, go under the airport and avoid security and come back in on the other side. Kind of scary how easy it was and do not be questioned.

@@CB460xz On the contrary, I do know about this. Yes automatic, out the front knives, are illegal in NY. The only exception is when you have a hunting or fishing license. And as they did mention in this video they are 100% illegal to import through the US postal service regardless. Thus, they were seized. This is not my opinion, it is state law.

As a Mexican American, I’m surprised that the customs officer didn’t ask the Mexican travelers what kind of tamales they’re carrying. If there was meat inside, that might be something to be concerned about.

You are talking about two different agencies. The agency at the airport is Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE. The other agency at the border who's doing the best they can with what they have is the Border Patrol. They run independent from each other. The federal government have different agencies to do different law enforcement. Look it up under US Federal Government Law Enforcement Agencies.
