What a great player he was! Lawrence is one name that comes to mind when I think of SU basketball.

Somehow despite being the school’s all time scorer, Lawrence is still underrated. He really carried them through that time period.

I've watched Syracuse basketball since 1975. I'm happy to say that Lawrence in Moten was one of my favorites; smoothest player Syracuse ever had.

I remember when the dude was stressed and started losing a bit of hair in one spot on his head... because he was so beloved in the D.C. area, the kids there started shaving little parts out of their head because they thought he was doing some type of hairstyle! No joke!

I miss the days when guys like moten came here on the regular... today's athletes are soft, pampered and their sense of entitlement is off the charts and the kicker is, most of them aren't worth the trouble.... su, a once proud program...
