That vehicle first started my love for cars. I had so many pictures on my wall of the F40. I went on to work for a company called Storacar in Buckinghamshire, and ended up driving quite a few of these. The first time I drove one Reg F40 ROR, it scared the life out of me. I remember driving it from Golders Green in London back to Storacar and the looks I got was unbelievable. I’m now 51 years old and I’ve never driven a car like it. I would say it’s probably the best car ever to made.

Old school ferrari Gordon Murray famously was asked if his F1 was going to rival the f40 he said no we don't have anyone that weld that badly at mclaren.

Yeah, he's been salty about the F40 ever since he realized that most people like it better than his F1 (if you keep price out of the equation). F40 looks better and is loads more exciting to drive.

And still under 50 miles from new! It's a sin to keep these pristine, they should be thrashed and abused several times a year then fully rebuilt every 20 years.
