The Mot has always been one screwed up company. Worked for them in the 70's. Built a huge manufacturing plant in Harvard, now abandoned, still vacant and deteriorating. Was a white elephant in the middle of nowhere. Built a huge manufacturing facility in Libertyville, abandoned and sold for fire-sale price. Early 60's/70's massive Schiller park headquarters and manufacturing torn down. Fort Worth Texas cellphone plant opened and closed in less than a year. Now the last of the Schaumburg campus, its Crown Jewel, is abandoned and being demolished.
