Hello! I think the light bulb that illuminates the buttons on the climatronic is on, because they can't be seen at all at night. What kind of light bulb is it and where can I find it? Thanks !

hi, can you help me? when i put climate to blow at windshield it actually blows at passengers, and on the screen is showing at windshield? When i press auto it also blows at passengers. To blow air at windshield i must put manually arrow at passengers. What can be wrong?

To a certain degree it happens on my car also, but just simply close the passenger air-vents on the dashboard and the air will be forced to exit at the windshield (and maybe at the legs).

can i got the lcd to be black and white ? but with light :) ? and the led for inside what those called ? 1.2 w ? but can they be bought in other colors white, mine is orange now, i want white for button climactronic text
@furulevi3 жыл бұрын
The color is given by the bulbs and the plastic buttons... It uses 12V 1.2W Incandescent bulbs. Yes I bought clear bulbs, without any color, but the glowing might not be white as LEDs.

How does your look at the night?😀 cause u also had a orange plastic under display?😀

Behind the display is a plastic sheet. You can change it to different colors if you like.

Can it then be purple with white text? 😀
3 жыл бұрын
@@larsk7708 no. If you instal a purple plastic transparent sheet the text will be also purple. The way I have done is using LED's but had to install them differently than the stock lights to prevent them to shine directly to the display. 2 shine down and 2 shine upwards and separate ones under each button.

If you do that you end up with bright dots in your display. To prevent this from happening you have to install them differently. Mine LED's shine up and downwards and you have to use resisters and take power and ground from the board.

@ Hi Dave, the Leds I bought came from Ledperf in France and they have white diffusors on them. They spread the light just right and the whole display is lit up without any dots of light.
@@almsco nice to know but little bit to late. Besides it's white you say. I made everything with blue LED's and resisters. I had to do some soldering but works fine. I used these LED's their high quality and cheap from Germany. www.conrad.nl/p/huiyuan-6834b2c-lsa-c-bedrade-led-blauw-rechthoekig-5-mm-1250-mcd-120-20-ma-1603118 it's a Dutch link but their depot is in germany. Just use 800 to 1K resistors.
