Didn't leave the ship again. Great food and awesome staff the whole time on the ship. Truly enjoyed the ship and the staff. My older sister spent the whole time drunk and yelling at her kid. @chrismaggio78793 жыл бұрын
OK... I served aboard 3 US aircraft carriers... They are only 97,000 tons, less than half this size! Everything is grey. The guest number on this ship is about the same as the entire deployment crew on the carrier, and this ship still has the staff and crew on top of that! The meals are about the same in number but damned if we had lava cake and lobster tails and a robotic bartender... if we did it must have been in the officer's galley. The Navy mess crew on the carrier deserves props for the hard work and good food, but no one ate like this. If I recall, our airshows were much better than that cheesy Wright Bros. prop job... so we had that goin' for us! Our sleeping accommodations in a room about the size of a standard cabin would have been maybe 12 to 18 sailors in confined metal racks with 2" mattresses and a lot of noisy water, steam, jet fuel, and sewer pipes running thru the space, so I have to give the cruise ship a slight advantage there. But I have to say, I wouldn't trade my time on the carrier for a cruise on this ship. Yes I am totally lying about that part.
