Today’s review is a pretty special one. It marks the first time that we’ve reviewed a new launch development at the show flat - and now that its built, to experience and compare to see how the vision for it has been realised.
We first visited the Twin VEW show flat a year ago in Oct 2020, and left quite impressed. For a maiden project, the vision that the developers (CSC Land) had created was intriguing. The tiered landscaping, modern design, and lush facilities were attractive. While the lack of immediate amenities nearby was undoubtedly a drawback, the successful sales early on proved that they had a very appealing package on paper. So like most, we could see the potential, and was excited to see the project come to fruition.
The amount of work that has been put into creating an innovative condo environment should not go unnoticed. For a maiden project, we think it is a rather impressive showing - great landscaping, solid facilities, and a well rounded offering (some units with private lifts, marble floorings and good furnishings).
What does detract from the general liveability though is the lack of any immediate amenities. Even though the development is geared towards own-stay family living, its current surroundings (industrial areas) aren’t best suited for it.
Also, due to the further lack of public transport in the area at this juncture, we wouldn’t recommend looking at this area if you rely heavily on public transport.
On the bright side, those working in the west will have relatively quick access to the JLD and JID sectors when they eventually come to fruition.

The drawback is the location and zero amenities … This is not the right condo if you want a high degree of accessibility. There are no “across the road” amenities, and no nearby MRT station; so this is strictly a property for those who don’t mind driving or using PHVs a lot. I must admit overall quite nice from a China developer

Everything is spanking new and sparkling nice of course, that's to be expected. But let's face it, the location is not desirable and would classify as "in the middle of nowhere" for many.

Like the review but not the project, was on site when Twin Vew TOP, no immediate amenities and connectivity in short time, future buyers can only bank on upcoming CRL which may take another 7-8 years to materialize, the tradeoff for short term pain with long term gain is just not worth it in my opinion. It really has nothing around except a nice reservoir view
