china has the money, population, and discipline needed to nurture young talent sure they don't have the physical stature but that's the beauty of football you can be any shape or size and become world class i wouldn't be surprised if they pumped out some gems in the future and became the dominant force in asia

In order for China to become dominant in football they need to get rid of their traditional system where they hand pick youths and train them. They should adopt the youth system abroad where individual talents can be recognized and scouted by the local clubs youth academy

Went to a Shanghai Shenhua match last June. Amazing atmosphere, it rivals the likes of dortmund etc. Tevez and Guarin looked like they didn't care about winning though lol

I am Indian, we are progressing incredibly but not at the same level as the Chinese Super League. One problem is that China doesn't have many good young players, while India does.

Chinese league might be a big thing in the future but what about THE NATIONAL TEAM OF CHINA? It's weird that their population is about 1,37 billion people but their national team is awful. The same thing with India. I think it should be easy to find 11-20 good players to compete in the highest level when your population is that high.

TheLegend27 I have unfortunately Liga Mx and the Brazilian league are definitely the best leagues you mentioned in terms of talent but all the best players in the Brazilian league leave when they are really young. The level of football is just so low compared to how it is in Europe though.

All you guys that having a go at MLS for not being like the CSL, at least MLS does a better job at nurturing/promoting local talent than CSL, at least that's what local leagues should be aiming for. Note that China hasn't been in the WC since 2002 as opposed to USA, at least the CSL should have put them in the WC 2014.
