The Cambridge royals are a seriously stylish family. Kate Middleton has an elegant wardrobe mixed with high-end and more affordable pieces. Her every fashion move is closely followed, and what she wears is sold out. It’s no different for her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Her adorable children share her classic timeless style. They also wear a mix of higher-end heritage brands with lower cost kids lines. Whatever they wear is always sold out. These adorable kids are the powerful people dedicating the trends in childrenswear. None of them know it.
Their style is a mix of British preppy with sporty and nautical. Lots of navy blue and maroon. The boys often wear shorts and polos, while Princess Charlotte almost exclusively wears Peter Pan collar dresses. For Prince George he’s often spotted in shorts. That’s because it’s a British tradition where after boys turn eight, they graduate into pants. As for Prince Louis, he’s the sibling most likely to be wearing hand-me-downs. Since he’s only two and constantly growing, the choice is a smart and sensible one. The family often coordinates their outfits to match colors for formal events. It signals they are a family. In their spare time, the children dress more casually.

My children, I dressed this way. My daughter's wardrobe was passed down to her Godparents, daughter! All of her dresses and play clothes always looked this way. I guess it is how you are raised and dressed that sets the standard. On top of their wardrobe, I made sure my children were always polished and perfect. I just loved dressing them, they always were prim and proper. My son who is my Eldest son who is 22, has great fashion sense. But his clothing is always designer and classic. I suppose once you get used to dressing this way, it stays with you.

IN the UK in the past, small boys only wore Short Trousers, as they called them then, they only wore Long Trousers after a certain age. That includes ALL walks of society, not just Royal Males. History in the UK has many layers, But i think ALL the Royal children of Queen Elizabeth the Great, are trying to modernize for the Future and the next generation, God Bless Elizabeth, Long live The King. xox

Adorable for these boys, but in our climate during the winter it would be unrealistic. So we stay out of the fine style and make the boys wear long trousers or jeans in the winter.
