Inside the closure: What our Incident Response Team does during winter storms

Collisions can block travel lanes or even an entire highway. When this happens, the WSDOT Incident Response Team quickly responds to help clear the crash and reopen the closure. Here is a behind the scenes look at one of our IRT members during the most recent snowstorm.

These guys are great! Years ago they helped my brother and I jumpstart his hobby project car when it came to a stop on the side of I-90 in Spokane. Didn't ask for anything in return. Real heroes!
