That would be great. To see some of my heroes such as Mighty Joe Royle, Alan Whittle, Big Bob Latchford and many more of the players from bygone days to walk out and then watch the first game at the new ground would be brilliant. Also I have said in the past that the club should open a toffee shop near to the ground. COYBs.

Remember Moyes didn’t have a clue where to play Jags in the beginning. Not sure the fans did either. But when he went centre half, he was different class. The biggest groan I ever heard at Goodison was when he got injured not long before the trip to Wembley. I think it was against City at Goodison. He went down and stayed down and I’ll always remember that moment. We all knew the rest of the season was gonna be so much harder without him.

As the stadium continues to go without a hitch ya just feel, this is Everton, something has to go wrong, Can imagine that some catastrophic stadium planning flaw will cause the pitch to be a constant quagmire, or the way the sun shines off the roof starts to pinpoint sunlight on specific seats and starts to burn them, or blinds the players. Just some stupid million to one thing, that nobody could foresee until it happens that can only happen to Everton.

Starting to shape up into a nice stadium, clearly taken elements from a few modern stadiums. I particularly like the exterior cladding and surrounding area as you approach. The stands look pretty copy/paste tbh but atleast its all clean and modern. Will look forward to your Finale ceremony. When Spurs opened their new ground they had to do a series of H&S crowd tests, you can't just go from zero to full capacity in 1 go. They had an open day stadium tour, a youth match and a legends match, even Gazza got a kick.

It’s just like trading in your first car that you’ve had for 10 years and put 400,000 miles on. Lots of memories, shagged ya first bird in the back, brought the kids home from the hospital in it when they were born. But now it’s getting traded in for a brand new Beamer with 0 miles on it and all the new bells and whistles. Bluetooth, heated seats, it’s safer, and better to maintain… yes it’s sad, but the brand newy will be BOSS and we can make new memories.
