We miss Charlie in F1. Such a great guy: calm, collected and always there for the drivers and their safety. After the mess we had in Saudi-Arabia just yesterday and some other races over the last few years it gets even more obviuos what an amazing job Charlie did. Also bring back those driver briefings for us. I think its very interesting to see the drivers outside of their car and how they interact in these briefings.
@chrisskit_89343 жыл бұрын
Don't think they'll bring back the driver briefings tho. Since drivers report stuff and all. It caused some outrage among the fans against the drivers. Just like Romain, he told Charlie about Lewis undoing his seatbelt etc, and he got a lot of hate for that. So I think It's for the best they shouldn't show It so all drivers can voice their complaints without receiving any negative feedback afterwards.

My interest in F1 has dwindled slightly over the last couple of years but these driver briefings, although brief (duh!), are super engaging and help me get a better sense of what's going on with the sport. More importantly, observing all of the drivers being able to speak candidly in such a relaxed environment helps me remember that these are all just normal guys. It also reminds me that when Driver X did/said that thing which annoyed me, it was in the heat of battle and that side is not necessarily what they're really like as people. My point is that more of these should be put out and I believe it will help fans to be more engaged.

"we tend to rely on your teams telling us when something is happening" That's an extremely important point

This is so amazing to watch, really gives an insight to what happens. If this would become every race or every other race that would be amazing. Thanks for all that you have done liberty.
