Doug, thank you for taking the time to explore the Jewish community, the customs and practices. As one who has strayed from my own traditional upbringing, I have found Shloime to be an amazing human being who makes me feel welcome, reaches out with kindness and brings people together. Thanks to Shloime, for the first time in decades, I feel a renewed bond with my heritage through the power of love and kindness - and thanks to you for your informative piece.

Greetings from Egypt Noor Dime , Jewish is the first religion came on the prophet mosses , Traditionally, Judaism holds that Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the national god of the Israelites, delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, and gave them the Law of Moses at Mount Sinai as described in the Torah. summary of Jewish religion : God exists. There is only one God. There are no other gods. God can't be subdivided into different persons Jews should worship only the one God. testimony The essence of Christianity revolves around the life, death and Christian beliefs on the resurrection of Jesus Christianity believe in one God Jesus's Teachings Love God. Love your neighbor as yourself. Forgive others who have wronged you. Love your enemies. Ask God for forgiveness of your sins. Jesus is the Messiah and was given the authority to forgive others. This means that Jesus Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”… I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.

Never knew that about art investing, and I would be interested in how the repair costs for degradation differs for various media, meaning if sculptures degrade less or more versus paintings or drawings.

Not am I, an investment analyst, professional or amateur, of others money nor my own, but I would not take out long term investments. This is because I saw the signs in the Heavens in 2020 on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, and I interpret that as starting of something such as Redemption. Maybe I am mistaken, but felt like mentioning it.

Shabbos should be Saturday Sabbath for everyone, because there is no Scriptural basis for Sunday. The Book of John describes how a man healed on the Sabbath and then was persecuted by the Jewish Sanhedrin for doing things on the Sabbath, proof that it was one in the same, echoed in Book of Hebrews that the day of rest being the same as during Creation. There is massive veiling of truth

Curious if that investment platform could be used to own a Sefer Torah as well? This would be in an alternative to sponsoring a letter when it's written, but can own a percentage of the invested one, although unsure if this would be a community Torah, but valuable ones go up in value if kept properly, but I am not a Torah scroll expert by any means, just assumptions based on value and repair costs.

Jews and Muslims are too close to one another. People forget that the problem is political, not religious. To explain, it's straight-up haram to treat a Jewish person any differently, not only that but in the Quran, they're considered the OGs, the same god and everything but older religion. From my experience, the religious Jewish people I've met also have a similar view on Muslims and consider them family. Never forget that many of the Jewish people aboard resent the situation in Palestine. I've lived in Brooklyn and I did have some bad experiences but the majority were nice and were very welcoming and curious, I felt home.

Many many chassidim have Hungarian background because the Hungarian Jews were the last to be sent to the concentration camps and therefore more survived. I grew up in boro park. Nearly all of the older generation spoke Hungarian. We heard it a lot in shul ( synagogue). Most of us knew that egan meant yes and nem meant know. Many of us used Hungarian words peppered in our language without knowing it was Hungarian.

I wish there huge kisher supermarkets like the one in this video in Toronto, Canada . I have to read labels on everything, before buying it . You have idea how many prepared foods have pork products in them . If I buy something that does list everything on the label , I call the company . They will tell you if there are pork products . I give the food away . We don't even give our dog anything with pork in it . Sure huge supermarket chains have kosher sections , but it limited and you have to look very hard .

I enjoyed hearing the Eichler's man talk. Welcoming store. Chanukah not the biggest holiday. So many different types of Jews across the continuum. In Boro Park not all Jews are Hasidic . These Jews do not represent all Jews. They are a segment of the population. Good interview. So as far as how many hours to wait between meat then dairy varies among different communities. Different levels of kosher - depends upon the group. Thumbs up. Thumbs up.
