I grew up near Dallas, and the story in the 1960s was that the North Dallas tollway would eventually become "free" after tolls paid its construction costs. 🙄 **UPDATE** Today (Feb 1st) I received a paper check for $21.32 from TxTag - the credit balance I had remaining in my account. 👍🏻
