I had a bad spill last fall myself Miles from nowhere. I understand the way you remember it is kinda gray. My helmet saved me too. I was going fast in the dawn light on an unfamiliar road transitioning from pavement to gravel and hit a washboard. I have no idea how long I was out. Bleeding from gravel rash from Head to Toe I picked myself up, got back on the bike and rode the 8 or 10 miles home. Glad to see you are alright! You're young. The body can take alot. I'm old. Very slow healing.
