Raptors are the only team i trust to come back 3-0. Feels like theyve been the underdogs for their entire franchise history. Especially recently in the eastern conference amongst stacked behemouths who are favoured to win in philly, boston, brooklyn, and miami. No real superstar caliber player on their roster and the last time they had a superstar player they won a chip in 2019. As a Sixers fan this loss was so embarrassing I can't even put together the words to describe it. How u can come out so flat in a close out game in YOUR home arena is beyond me. They have no leadership on this team, Harden looks like a shell of the player he once was, and Embiid played probably his worst game defensively as a pro. And I don't expect them to win game 6, and I definitely don't have confidence in Doc's coaching for them to win at game 7. I think they could be done.

Agree with you, game 3 was a big disappointement because they handed the game to Philly. The sixers were poorer in game 3 than last night but the Raptors did everything possible to loose the game after a great team effort on defense event, that bothered me a lot and I still do not get it. That is particularly the reason I am humble for game 6 because they can be so dominant and still lose for lack efficiency like in game 3.

i mean to be fair GTJ was sick up until game 3. Scottie was injured in Game 1 and fred was also hobbling on that knee and was routinely getting blown by against Maxey. Now with Fred out and the rest of the guys relatively healthy, Maxey can't really beat anyone off the dribble anymore. The 6'9 long bois can hold their own against anything Harden tries and then just swarm Embiid and tire him out.

It was not there early in the series because the Raps were giving minutes to Fred (because he's earned them as their leader) and Fred is hurt. All those open corner threes... who do you think was late on those rotations? It was the All-Star, All-Defense-calibur point guard with a busted wheel. Normally Fred's smarts, toughness and motor let him be a productive part of what the Raptors do on defence, but with his injury he is a liability who the Sixers picked on to great advantage. Now they can't do that anymore. Scottie being back after the game one injury and Gary not having a fever of 102 anymore are huge factors too, obviously.

Once FVV was off the floor the Raptors finally go to fully exploit their mismatches. Before Fred playing injured was a liability and we kept him out there for 3 games which will probably end up costing us the series. But we have a chance now playing like this. Philly has zero answers for it. They tried zone; Pascal, Thad Young and Scottie are all excellent passers and can easily exploit the zone. The fact that we won while also shooting abysmally from 3 gives me more hope as well.

Never seen a coach like Nick Nurse plan a series with the goal being, getting his young players playoff experience as the #1 priority. Nurse is focusing on getting the young players driving hard and consistent with the schemes the coaching staff have set up. It's allowing players to focus on team IQ without the stress of intense big game close out playoff moments. The Raptors are learning fast how to play with force, intensity and discipline despite losing Fred Vanfleet and the 3 pt game and take advantage of their team height and speed to keep hitting FG and get rebounds off the glass. 76ers get a three, the Raptors respond with two possessions getting 4 in the paint. That's how the last three games have gone. Raptors can win this series and nobody is really going to understand why until it's too late.
