Coach Flus is a true leader. I was definitely skeptical of his hiring at first but he’s really proven himself to be a great coach - emphasizing the fundamentals and playing hard and disciplined. It shows in the preseason games. I’m excited for the future of this team!

i bet you said that back in the nagy era too.... assumption by saying someone is a true leader hasn't even been proven yet. your basing you state off what? ALL you know is what is censored and put out there and what they want you to know.... beyond that you know absolutely nothing other then assumptions.... You do realize proving anything is based on accomplishments in the game.... shall we name great coaches that have proven their worth by RESULTS. The coach has nothing proven up to this point.

@@ttss5726 you can tell the difference between Flus and Nagy right away in what and how they say things. It’s night and day. Nagy didn’t want to hold the players accountable and instead promoted a relaxed environment where he was cool with everyone. Flus is constantly stressing the fundamentals at practice and making sure guys are playing aggressive/disciplined. He’s actually preparing his team for game situations in drills, something Nagy also didn’t do. And all of this has shown up in the preseason as well so it’s not like we haven’t seen Flus’ principles at play in a game setting already. I’m not proclaiming the guy the next George Halas. Just that he is showing traits of a good NFL coach. Obviously he needs to keep showing that through the season.

44 years in chicago my whole life and the bears history says otherwise.... as the cubs say maybe next year. The best QB's played baseball when they were young. When you play baseball, catch and hit, or even practice it, from seeing the small ball everyday, such a small ball, it gives you better hand eye coordination for football.
