Actually, this lock has 2 "pins" if you look closer, but...

Yeah, if you look even closer, you will see that there are three levers with gates, and the one in back that you would have to keep tension on to throw the bolt, making a total of four. Still an easy pick if you know what you are doing and have the correct tools.

These are called lever locks because of the levers and this type of mechanism is actually quite common in door locks in a number of countries.
