This video is a scam and probably infringing dozens of copyright from several companies. there are no actual images from this Eco1 farm and it's basically a mix of video cuts from dozens of other vertical farm companies and internet videos.

Bowery is New York based... The only UAE footage was from the outside of the building. Aerofarm is also USA based. This video/ description are clickbait and copyright infringement. The only truth in this video is the fact that vertical farms ARE more efficient and prohibit pest/ floods/ draughts to influence growth. But we also need to keep outdoor plants to keep insects, birds and pollen to survive

UAE is the perfect training ground for developing the tech necessary to colonize Mars. I'm so excited about this and eager to find out where I can invest my money to see this project come to fruition. Congrats to UAE and to those responsible for such technology.

WHERE CAN I LEARN OR TRAINED WITH THIS TECHNIQUE?? the use of light is so critical in plant growth, how they can analyzed or measure those things??? plant need carbon dioxide, how they can put it there knowing that it inside the building??? the proper nutrients calculation per plant, how they measure those things???? It's always impressive as we see technology helping move farming to be completely sustainable, the shame here is the use of plastics containers for selling the products.. unless it's a non-plastic derivative which was never mentioned ???

Why isn’t there any vertical farms in Nevada. It has the area for such infrastructure. And it’s location to other states makes it an important state for vertical farming.

You need smart people to make a vertical farm, that rules out Nevada
@Acestes. Жыл бұрын
So very true my friend. Ignore the trolls who can't even understand this in the first place. But you are correct, our government should invest in this tech and start using Nevada is the perfect area to test this. It would help America pioneer us to landing on Mars and colonizing it faster. Invest in the companies developing this, then when you make enough money hire your own techs and bring jobs to Nevada and watch your wealth growth. I'd be the first ready to invest.

I agree with the comment about it’s not organic and missing a lot of essential nutrients and they are doing in purposely, but this is why we need a company to use natural light using technology that can bring in and control natural sunlight(they have it) and using rich organic soils, they will of course not be as automated as much and take more care but it can be done, I’m working with a company where we are trying to make something like this come true. Let’s hope and pray it works bc we need healthy organic food! They are killing us on purpose and we have to come together to stop it and provide a good source of food with a competitive product so we can provide a good quality product to people. :)

If we eat or consume only green leafy vegetables, it would be very impressive. How many crops vertical farming is able to produce for nutrition? Nevertheless, it is very important when we think about the consumption rate of leafy vegetables.

Why are all these farms made of hoke depot shelving with no food safety or stainless steel? I'm confused. Why don't these people invest in REAL TECH. This is a joke. I visited one in orange new jerseys that blew my mind . All stainless, automated and completely food safe
It actually uses a giant about of resources to run them lights and produce all the plastics, steal, not to mention the amount of waist that's created from the mining and drilling that's needed to "sustain" this farm.
@bonniebon73352 жыл бұрын
These are not organic, btw. Only way to do this is chemically. Today's experts know how to give everything a plant needs to take up nutrients and grow abundantly and fruit abundantly. Without access to micro-nutrients in natural soil, the plant cannot take up essential nutrients that humans need to stay healthy. Since plants take up more than just the nutrients they need, it would be very easy for some nefarious psychopath to introduce something in their growing medium and sicken large swathes of people. The control of abuse of technology needs to stop. This is just propaganda to serve their purpose.
@sonykurian26192 жыл бұрын
This can never match nutritionally what is grown organically in soil
@bggjjhljk2 жыл бұрын
and what makes you think the food that's grown in the soil now isn't already introduced to a bunch of pesticides and chemicals?

@@bggjjhljk I grow my own. This conversation isn't about the present ills of Big Ag which is presently being destroyed to make way for this BS. My original post was to condemn this massive technological monster that poses no gain to society whatsoever. Enjoy your coming starvation.

@@bonniebon7335 I grow my own too, so no. I won't starve. Keep your ill wishes to yourself. Growing vegetable indoors and in a controlled environment sounds like a massive win to me. The rest of us are evolving and adapting to the ever changing landscape and environment. Soil isn't eternal either. Time to keep up.
@rexhorner5992 жыл бұрын
There are always ways to spoil a good practice. The products can be more nutritional than those grown in soil. Different plants can be more nutritional than others using this method. Since there are no pesticides used in a controlled environment, I consider them better than organic, because most soil has been contaminated, but pure water can be distilled to remove contaminants!
