Where were you 14 years ago when the most devastating hurricane the world has ever known made landfall in New Orleans Louisiana? Me: I was in the very midst of the hurricane being protected by God. Yes God, Who afterwards sent me to the heart of New Orleans to minister hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the mercy of Jesus Christ, to the thousands stranded. Now 14 years later in my 14th published book, you get to take a very in-depth look... As the world was watching and wondering, a young preacher appeared on international news, and in a dramatic CNN interview answered the question "Why." Hear his story (hear my story) to God's glory, in my blessed new book, "God My Refuge: My Personal Katrina Story." Look for it here ⤵ www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07X31MGHD?pd_rd_i=B07X31MGHD&ref_=dbs_s_def_awm_dirs_l_14&storeType=ebooks&qid=1567089335&sr=1-15-dbssearch-acs

Actually he said he did it for Trader Joe's policy of offering health insurance for a flexible 25 hour work week schedule. That is very expensive if you have to buy it privately. ($2000 a month for a family plus and still with a high deductible) He had a decent income from teaching acting and some bit parts, but he made too much for the cheaper Obama care and did not want that big bite out of his income($24000 plus a year) paying for expensive private health insurance.

I have nothing but absolute respect for this man. My father lost his job a few years ago and faced some difficulty, but he never bothered to try get back to work again and believed regular jobs were beneath him and instead felt sorry for himself. As a result we have been struggling for the past few years on my mother's income alone and i hope to contribute soon after i graduate. A man who can do what it takes to provide no matter the circumstances is a real man.

@@TheSacralHealer You're welcome :) and I understand the mentality of not being focused and perhaps being depressed. From my experience sometimes one just has to start off with something, no matter how small it is. Perhaps it could be starting a small business. Learning how to network to create your own clients. Maybe doing something for others just because you love doing it. Maybe it's learning something new. Even if it's a small hustle support that. Eventually I hope they'll slowly start getting off their bums. Anyways I wish you all the best in all you do.

He's a hard working man who likely feels weird that people see him as a charity case.

Respect to him, my father in law hasn’t worked for 34 years because of his pride while his wife struggles. I respect this man for doing what he has to do for his family

What’s wrong with working at Trader Joe’s? What’s wrong with working any regular job? Would you have rather he stayed unemployed and on government assistance? Smdh...

So humble so cool. Glad stars took notice and extended thier generosity and kindness to help him and his family without him asking. No shame in his game for working at Traders Joe's to support his family. God Bless. More and, More Projects for him.
