When she was a little bit older the adoptive parents told her about her being adopted and who her real mother was. ( what I believe was a big mistake in this case) After hearing what a monster her mother was Becky went down a bad path, dropping out of high school and getting into drugs, and ended up having her son, Christian at only 17 years old. She was later on homeless and pregnant again. To make story short she wrote Diane few letters, Diane wrote her back. And than Becky found out such a horrible person her mother was, and that she is not like her mother at all. So she put her life together again she stopped doing drugs. And is now on the way up, And we wish her to stay there. 11/2024 a little bit update bc of the comments. Soo Beka’s parents said to her that she was adopted when she was a child. One day she asked her mother (Her real mother) if she had few information about her biological mother. Her mother said that she hadn’t that much but she knew that her mother is in prison. So all these questions that she had but no answer’s. One day she tricked the nanny and acted like she knew now everything about her biological mother. And the nanny said : oh ok so now you know that you mum is Diane Downs ? Boom and she had a name. She went to library and opened the book Small sacrifice’s. She looked some pictures and she didn’t liked what she saw. When she saw the cold look in Diane’s eyes, she closed the book and left. So she knew now that not only she was adopted ( what was no problem for her bc she loves her parents) but that her biological mother is the monster known as Diane Downs. She had a boyfriend and alc and drug’s were not tabu. One day he showed her the movie. She couldn’t look away. She had her first son, and her auntie helped her with that. But than 2006 she got pregnant again. But she decided to give the baby for adoption. Not bc she didn’t loved her baby but bc she loved her baby. And that was the time she thought about Diane and she send her a letter. Everything was fine, they wrote each other often. One day Becky thought that if she wants to know who her father is, than is Diane someone who knows it. So she asked Diane, but for a big narcissist like Diane was and to hear that someone wants to talk with you not about you !!!???? Diane didn’t liked it at all. And since Becky asked, Diane went back to i didn’t do it. It was all planned against me. Diane send Becky a letter that was 12 pages long, about how she didn’t do it and that all was only conspiracy. And that she should move with her son somewhere else bc she could be killed too. But Diane went to far when she wrote sth like : Becky you aren’t our daughter !! You must be someone who work for those people. Becky had enough. And broke up the contact with Diane. But I would say no matter how it went down. Hard for me to imagine this news would derail someone's life. Yes, her biological mom is a HORRIBLE person, and that would definitely be a lot to process, but if you're a good person, with a good life, finding out one or both of your parents aren't shouldn't turn you into a drug addict, teen mom, etc. There had to have been other factors.

The father didn't come to the hospital from what I've read. Diane's parents...the GRANDPARENTS of the kids, only came to see them once...and didn't stay long. When I was at school I did a project on. Women should have a licence to have kids having a psych elevation the license would only allow them to have kids at age of 22 and up they also had to have a clean record and not to carry a firearm Only pepper spray and other rules I had to watch the documentary on this For Me to make the project I ended up getting a merit on project.

they were adopted by the Prosecuting Attorney... name one other time in the history of US law that has happened. Diane had many relatives who wanted to adopt they were never considered...

Yea never understood where the dad was in all this . I know what movie portrayed him as but this showed what he was .. just as bad as her but he didn’t want kids either but still his children so why isn’t he raising ?
