Personally, I think it should cease regardless of gender, and I think alimony in general is an antiquated practice that shouldn't have a place within a modern society. (It also typically benefits women way more than men). Some men might simply see this as an example of "be careful what you wish for" when it comes to the equality debate of genders. This woman is a victim of an unfair practice that many men before her have been arguing about for decades.
