Yes! Glad to see you finding time to bring us more content! And glad to see you shooting a Hoyt carbon this year. I've bounced around a lot from brand to brand over the last 10-15 years, but I'm really loving my RX7 and now my RX8, not Ultra. Not a completely, whole new bow, just evolutionary better.

The engage limb legs are a life changer. I agree the bow looks better without them, but being able to sit your bow down almost anywhere and pick it up without bending over or worrying about what your laying your bow in or on. The only time they come off my bows is for the press or vise lol. Thank you for the content.

Currently shooting my RX8 Ultra w/450gn arrows at 273fps @ 70lbs (29.25 draw length). Swapped out stock Hoyt strings for ABB…lost 3 fps due to difference in strings and the Hoyt coming in “out of spec”. Tested an RX8 Ultra off the shelf today with stock strings set at 75lbs shooting my same arrow and clocked 293fps…needless to say…new limbs are coming!!! The RX8 is SMOOTH and even SMOOTHER with ABB strings which I think allows you to go up in poundage 👍🏻

Could have just added a couple twists to the cables to get it into spec but it draws pretty nice! So the heavier limbs should be money

Evidently it was out of spec from Hoyt (shorter axle-to-axle and brace height than stated) and I’ve been told most manufacturers add twists in order to meet specs. (I.e. bow at 68/69lbs add twists to hit 70lbs). With the stock Hoyt strings and prior to swapping out strings I was at 275/276 fps at 70lbs (60/70 limbs)…needless to say seeing 293fps @ 75lbs was a huge jump. Stock Hoyt strings feel stiffer compared to a set of ABB’s which made all already good draw cycle feel even better.

​I recently installed a new gas string set on my torrex and lost a few pounds. Would twisting up the cables bring me back up, or twist up the string? Confused

Really cool bow and video! I always wanted to build a bow with the Kuiu Vias colors and flo purple strings - not very stealthy, but would look pretty cool!

Chinese made hoyt for 1600 dollars and it' the lift is lighter doesn't seem worth it great video tho
