You've made it to Venice, Italy, the most magical spot on the planet! You've managed to get off at the right spot (not Venice MESTRE, which is the last stop on the mainland...), didn't forget your luggage on board, even grabbed a quick gelato near the station's entrance. Erm, now what? You've emerged out into the glorious wonderland - the outdoor "lobby" of Santa Lucia Station overlooking the stunning scenery of the famous Grand Canal, but what to do next? You're staying at a hotel (or AirBnB, VRBO, holiday rental, etc.) but have no idea where it is or how to get there. Relax, I've got you covered.

Soon, I'll begin the hunt for my own flat in Venice, which will be my forever home down the road. But for now, follow me as I search for my little slice of heaven on earth, in Venice.
