The Bánh Mi can also be chicken, not just pork. They also forgot to say that it always has chicken liver paté on it and the sandwich is made with a Vietnamese baguette made partially with rice flour making it lighter and crispier than the French variety. As a native to the PNW I can attest that you can get these almost anywhere now that Pho restaurants are a local staple. If you ever get the chance, try one - freaking bomb!
@ambie33004 жыл бұрын

I dont think any state eats as much pork steaks as Missouri tho so I'd have to go with that eventhough most people just serve it with bread on the side rather than a sandwich.

Hotdog is a type of sub sandwhich. Kinda like subway or even an italian beef. You don't slice the bread all the way through. If you slice the bread all the way through, then it is just a sandwhich. There’s such thing as the California Sandwich. Hint: It’s not In-N-Out.

it's like they compiled the list using Google search and then inserted the top returns from each state as the "winner" LOL

You've obviously never been to Einstein Bros. Bagels, to order cream cheese, you must call it schmear or else they won't give it to you

Same 😅 thx btw

There is actually a great percentage of Vietnamese population here in Washington. Definitely did not steal banh mi but more so blessed that our neighbors decided to share these delicious sandwiches with us. Not only Do Vietnamese restaurants here make and sell banh mi sandwiches but their grocery stores as well. 😊

@@Loredo512 American Bánh mì are missing alot of important factor that make bánh mì great in Vn. Idk why they do that, probably adjust the taste so that Americans can enjoy it. But yeah they are still over-price.

I'm from washington and i was surprised it was this sandwich. I've never heard of or seen one of these in my entire life, or noticed a large amount of vietnamese people in this state.
