Peristyle Podcast - USC put on NCAA probation, throwback uniforms plus a 4-star defensive de-commit

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio talking about the breaking news that the USC football program was put on a one year probation and fined $50,000 by the NCAA for illegal coaching by some analysts during 2022 and 2023. The guys talk about this slap on the wrist from everyone's least favorite institution and if these penalties actually mean anything for Lincoln Riley and his Trojan football program.
They also discuss the Trojans pulling the trigger on alternate uniforms heading into the Nebraska game, throwing back to the 1972 unis from the John McKay era.
Speaking of Nebraska, both USC and the Huskers are desperate for a win so Connor and Ryan talk about what the Trojans can expect to see on Saturday afternoon in this Big Ten Coliseum clash.
The guys also share their thoughts on the passing of former USC head football coach John Robinson and longtime poster on the Peristyle known as nogales.
