I remember seeing some episodes of Insight in religion class in my catholic high school 1974-1977. Martin Sheen was a frequent cast member.

as a big fan of the 'two-hander'...episodes with just two characters I really loved insight which had quite a few of these. and all the ones I have seen so far have been great

I saw a lot of the Insight films in Religion classes back in high school in the 70's!! My best friend and I used to joke about them, and even laughed about them in our yearbooks, but still, this is one we always mention when we say that we liked one of the Insight films!! So glad that I found this!! Brings back a lot of great memories!! Have to call my friend and his wife tomorrow and tell them about this....😍😍😊😊✝️⚜️

I recall seeing this as a kid in the late seventies. I could never find it because I came to think over two decades, that it had been part of a religious course for NYU series "Sunrise Semester." which I would get up early Sunday mornings to watch sometimes. Forgot about this series name, but recalled Martin Sheen in a white suit playing God and "The Man" from "Chico And The Man."

Jack Albertson and Martin Sheen played as father and son in "The Subject Was Roses" from 1968. Very good movie.

I love that film; Patricia Neal was also remarkable as the wife/mother.

REALLY LOVE THE TRIPPY INTRO AND MUSIC. ITS LIKE THE RELIGOUS CREATORS TAPPED INTO THE RADICAL, PSYCHEDELIC CONSCIOUSNESS OF THOSE TIMES AND CREATED A MIND-BENDING, YET RELEVANT FORM OF RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMING.

Back in the seventies, this show was a billion times better almost ll the TV preachers of those days-and since,This was Christianity without the BS and the idolarry.

Anyone know what statue that is at the end? It seems to me that's the way I look with what's going on today.

Very telling and appropriate, since Mr Sheen considers himself God in the real world (only slightly more accomplished).
