That Unicorns IEM run was what hooked me to pro league play. TF Kikis and rookie PoE shitting on TSM and Bjergsen's hopes and dreams had this ethereal feeling about it. Sheepy was a straight fire guest, hope to see him on shows more as I think he plays a modest part in league history. Well accomplished coach from what I can see and eloquent guest.

In time he might slip up here and there but it is played off as naivety or awkwardness. But in the end, when the time is right to deliver the most fatal blow, it's revealed it was all intentional to undermine and sabotage. He was a heel all along.

Really enjoyed the Sheepy, Maestro and Nymaera segments. Didn't help that Dagdas mic was low but I have to say as an English LPL fan I'm kind of disappointed with how he did, think he can improve clarity and sentence structure when speaking and it comes across in his casting as well, with repeating the same opening phrases a lot (still love you mate). Also Wolf went full COPIUM when talking about Khan being better for DWG than Nuguri, Khan is just not the player he used to be years ago, and no other tops compare to Nuguri right now, anyone who watched LPL playoffs can tell you that

Khan played out of his mind during his last international tournament (discounting last year's fake MSI). He was arguably the best toplaner at worlds 2019 and at worst top 2. Yes, he had bad international tournaments, but his most recent one certainly was not that.

Khan is super underrated. He was ranked 1 in ladder before going to Iceland. He's still mechanically strong.

The reason that he was underrated going into 2021 spring was that he was pretty damn average all throughout 2020 in the LPL. He was appropriately rated going into 2021 and people's opinion of him is still likely tainted by how he performed in 2020.

Pretty strong disagreement on the TOP lane in LPL finals. While Nuguri clearly dominated lane Xiaohu played some teamfights beautifully on Gnar as well. Even in the games they loss he gave them a change to comeback with beautiful teamfighting engages, ults, and timing. The game consists of phases and Xiaohu's FULL gameplay was pretty strong in that series. I would say Xiaohu and LWX (played shet) carried that series for RNG. One bent but didn't break while the other one shattered into a million pieces.

A little sad Bengi wasnt brought up in misunderstood players, dude got to play on turbo stacked lineups his entire career and especially when he played that one nidalee game in (I want to say 2016?) and won. Everyone was gassing up him as this insane player who played a champ he had never played before and hard carried in a clutch moment against rox when in reality guy got mega carried by his team and had been complete ass the entire year which is why BLANK of all fuckin people were starting over him.

The difference is Bengi had success in 2013 and 2015. Being bad in a different iteration of the meta and then still being in form when the meta shifted towards his comfort zone to smurf again is actually crazy. Compare that to other players who had a big peak but then became hot garbage like broxah or mlxd.

Regarding Astralis and Denmark Thorin: it's actually much worse, but you risk having to give some props to Astralis, which might be a little bit out of your element ;) Like I noted in the comment thread to the most recent Four Horsemen episode, I work as a political advisor in Danish parliament. In 2019 member of parliament Naser Khader pushed through a grant of 1 million dollars in taxpayer money to Danish e-sport and much of the money was ear-marked to... *drum roll*..: RFRSH, who still owned Astralis at the time. Now I'll give you a penny if you can tell me which e-sports team Naser Khader's son might be a huge fan of? ;) The whole thing became a controversy, of course, and that's where the props come in: Astralis (or rather, RFRSH) ended up declining the grant and demanded the money be more broadly assigned to Danish elite e-sports as a whole. I'm the same as Monte, I can appreciate the ideas and concepts that some anime take but the execution of it is more often than not piss poor.
