Pre alpha build of Spiderman is the game we have now. What are they gonna do? Drastically changed what they've already made. In regards to the idea that Sony turned Insomniac into a Marvel studio. I think its a good idea to let them explore what they can do. In the leak there was also a new Ratchet game and a new IP lined up to come out after their Marvel stint.

He's evaluated as being belligerent post-intro but is shown to get better with every memory retrieved. And yet we do nothing or I suppose gain nothing in the way of the things those memories point to, whether or not it truly was just Kraven hounding him through his daughter and not; from how his mind expresses it; someone else. But all that's done with that quest is 19 inches of Sandman dropped at his wife's/gf's residence for his daughter to remember him. The game opens with him, then treats him as an after thought. Tombstone is captured, freed and never seen again. Doesn't even take part in the symbiote fight in any capacity--heck, freeing Marco prior to Harry becoming Venom doesn't even have *HIM* turn up to defend the city for the sake of his daughter. The game's running around dangling the theme of second chances yet opens with one of them causing arguably the second most damage all round and just... And then there's Felicia Hardy. Not because of her specifically no no. The Wand of Watoomb, an instrument of critical importance, very easily lands in her possession and is quickly disposed of by the department's lost and found picking it up before it can become plot relevant. Another wasted opportunity, which in the context of an extraterrestrial presence being...present in this story, is a pretty big waste. I could go on, but none of these come to a head at any point. Kravinoff's forces become a non-issue and have no presence by the time he's chomped. Li--THE GAME THEY'RE TAKING INSPIRATION FROM HAD KINGPIN'S FORCES *FIGHTING* THEM even with some govt contingent engaging them in combat. And 2 supermen and a civilian going up against *the Hoard* ending in a complete victory; on their own, no back up whatsoever; isn't a narrative inconsistency? Antivenom Pete vs Venom is a loss "cuz he's tired," but *regular Miles" vs Venom is a win?? The same Venom that took the whole city in hours with a rock, hounded the civ that took the rock, *and can literally summon more symbiotes to his beck and call* loses to *THAT?* If I'm blinded by rage at what could've been if they decided *not* to cut content because they "didn't give a shit," what the fk's blinding you to that last bit I wonder.

But clearly in the game it shows that when just touching the meteorite it changed Peters appearance and made him able to goop up the entire arena when fighting miles. Hence also why Harry turns into Venom instead of being Harry with a super suit like he was before. The meteorite increases the strength of the symbiote and gives it new powers. It really is that simple. It feels like you weren't paying attention and just finding excuses to dislike the game and its plot rather than understanding the game and its plot.

Hey Gamer, so what likely happened here is a mass email was sent out by these hackers to Insomniac employees posing as a superior or a general enticing entity. Some poor fool who was either not paying attention or didn’t think and opened it. Once that happened they got access into their network. I’m sure they had email encryption so it may have been a little more involved but it’s usually the end user that these people target rather than trying to just brute force the system. Once they’re in tho that’s it. So what will likely happen is some beefed up IT security and an email safety coarse for employees.

For me, im fine with insomniac essentially becoming a Marvel studio because they proved themselves so far, and it already felt like thatll be the case after wolverine was announced. With spiderman came its sequels and spinoffs (miles, now venom), so you can just assume with wolverine will come its sequels/ spinoffs (xmen). I hope we get a Hulk game from them eventually, i been wanting a new hulk game. When done well, the superhero genre is best as a gaming medium, because not only will it have a great story but its interactive and feeling like a superhero is cool.

Leaks like this will only be curbed through the combination of: • Enhanced security for their information. • Better vetting for who they allow access to this info. • MUCH Harsher punishments for hackers who get caught doing these crimes. A combination of preventative and reactive measures will decrease this behavior.
