Your poem brought tears to my eyes. My husbands grandpa just passed and at the funeral the speaker quoted how he always admired a woman and a mother and “the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”. You saying this during your video was confirmation for a lot of my prayers . Sometimes I feel less than as a stay at home mother and really a wife and a mother is such an impactful , meaningful work. Sometimes I get down with my daily tasks but this has been so uplifting and inspiring ❤️ thank you Nikki . I’m 27 as a young mom of two but I watch your videos and I really enjoy them deeply you inspire and teach me in ways I never knew I needed. Thank you

I am a lifelong feminist, which to me means supporting women (and men) in their pursuit of happiness/ contentment/fulfillment during their life on this earth. No one is more or less. I think what you said about modeling as parents is sos so important!!! How many times one can catch themself complaining about the house, the kids, the spouse! What a tragedy to to only model the tough times. My husband and I continue to work on this and gently remind each other. You are a wonderful role model for your children and an inspiration to many of your viewers❤

It’s Christmas Eve day. As I listen to this I’m enjoying crumb cake, eggs 🥚 and coffees. I’ve been awake since 6:00 🕕. Right now my husband is in bed 🛌 with a cold. I’m dressed to shoes. I did my hair and makeup even if it’s just for me. The house 🏡 is quiet. It’s 8 degrees and bitterly cold 🥶. Spending time in reflection boosts my spirits and gives me energy to be joyful today. This was incredibly beautiful! Thank you for this. We need more content like this in our day and age where the culture is quickly trying to define womanhood, so astray from reality and truth, as defined by God, who made woman in His image. We are the nurturers, the caregivers, and are to be teachers of the younger women, like you mentioned is stated in Titus 2, and it starts with modeling godly womanhood for our own daughters! Thank you for sharing that your channel is for the glory of God and not your own. That's true inspiration! Much love.

In the past, women greatly influenced the behavior of society. Behavior that was taught in the home was carried through into the outside world. Women taught their sons how to treat and respect women. Without trying to divert the subject, women have brought the situation on themselves. Women have diminished themselves in order to work in a man’s world. They have sacrificed their femininity and their strengths. They walk and talk like men. I have seen it and have worked with such women. They wrongfully belittled the women who chose motherhood and homemaking. They should have encouraged the women for choosing the life that they want. There’s a wonderful movie called Woman’s World that displays the influence that women have. It stars Lauren Bacall, June Allison, and Cornell Wilde. Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🎄🎅🏻 Nikki, your channel is a light showing that there is more to homemaking than just cooking and cleaning. It is about family life and relationships. It is about the foundation of society, the home and the family that dwells within.

Nikki that is by far one of the best videos you have ever produced, and That is also one of my favorite poems. Parents more specifically mothers have an on going battle with the lies of Satan , the lure of the world , social media and the influence of their friends which speak directly against a mothers wisdom , and Gods counsel . Most of the time we fight for their time , respect, and willing attention , while the world is working overtime to influence them to everything contrary. We have One job as parents that’s to make sure our children live Godly lives and that their salvation is secure, that they love God with their whole Heart Soul and Mind . Some days that ONE job seems daunting and impossible. Thank you for being a beautiful example , unwavering in your living out what God has commanded. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Christmas stay healthy and obedient , setting a model for not only YOUR daughters but for all your subscribers .❤️🙏✝️

Hi there! I contacted you a few months ago and told you that after I lost like 50 pounds I'd start wearing only skirts and dresses. I told you that I basically dressed like a lumber jack before lol Well I lost 45 pounds and started wearing only dresses and skirts about 4 months ago. I still have a few more pounds to lose but I fell pregnant. My husband and I lost the baby at 10 weeks gestation, last week. This was pretty rough. It turned out to be a partial molar pregnancy...that made it even tougher. I have to be monitored for a few months to make sure I stay healthy since these pregnancies can lead to cancer. So I am going to try wo focus on working on me again by work on dropping about 20 more pounds in the mean time before trying again. I will also be working on getting more dresses and skirts to add to my wardrobe. Today the whole family went to the mountains to split a tree for fire wood (still a lumber jack lol) but I wore a skirt the whole time. Actually two skirts lol, it was cold. Anyway, I tend to our animals, doctor wounds, do dishes, run errands, go to church, split wood, garden....all that and I haven't once wore pants in like 4 months. I don't miss it 97 percent of the time. Every once in a while, for a split second, I vaguely miss it but that passes quickly. I basically went dresses and skirts cold turkey (within a week or two). Being that I'm 38 years old, and I could count on one hand how many times I wore a skirt or dress in my life before this change....this is a huge change. But I'm so glad I did this! It feels very feminine and I act more feminine. People do treat you so much different and mostly in a very good way. I have had some women seem to almost take offense of this change though...like they think I'm judging them if they don't do the same....which I NEVER even implied. This is a very personal choice to make and it's not for everyone and that's okay. But I just keep wearing them and trying to let these people see that I'm still the same person. Thankfully there is only a couple people like that that I have encountered.Thank you for posting these encouraging videos. They helped me have the courage to do this!

Some very wise, inspirational and encouraging words you’ve spoken here, Nikki. A message which has seemed to be lost in today’s society. Sometimes, it’s hard to convey this very message without others receiving it in a hostile or offensive fashion. With so many women nowadays viewing belittlement of themselves or being less elegant as a prized feministic perspective, the importance of practising what you mentioned and being a good role model to our girls, and truthfully representing womanhood, motherhood and the job description of a wife cannot be stressed enough. So thank you for speaking out loud on your platform here. May this crucial message travel to the ears of all girls and women, young and old alike, everywhere in this world. ❤ ~mandy

This brought me to tears! I am a mother of 2 girls. 2.5 & 5 months (still building our family) but we are raising them in the Lord and His gospel and I just can relate to everything you said and do!! Even now at 2 my daughter runs around with her apron wanting to bake cookies and read her Bible. Singing songs of Jesus. It fills me with joy. I struggle a lot as I was raised by addicts and my father went to prison. So everything I know now is from the Grace of our Lord and Savior and His word. 4 years ago He called me out of addiction and homelessness and ever since then my husband and I (got married) and started a family. Traditional living- he works, I raise the girls and will be homeschooling and run the home. We are very different than most people we know. We value Jesus and want to truly live for Him. I could go on!! But I love your content. It makes me feel so at home and like their are other women out there like me.

Nikki, What a beautiful time in the kitchen with your daughters. Having our children’s hearts is a great key to parenting Godly children/young adults. Showing them we live to please the Lord in our heart, actions, motives and appearance is vital. This doesn’t make for perfect children or parents but communicating about the good times, the challenging issues and their goals is a very rewarding part of parenting. This can take hours a day when very challenging parts of relationships happen BUT what joy when the lightbulb comes on and you see peace flow over their faces. Owning businesses, choosing lifelong partners and dealing with heavy disappointments is not easy but we are so happy that our children turn to us, their parents first, their siblings (best friends) second and their likeminded cousins (lifelong friends) third. This did not happen by accident but by daily making the hard choices as parents which includes home education for our family. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video; Merry Christmas, Julie 🌷

Do you have upstairs in your home? Wish to know more of your teaching in teaching girls to be a good housewife too especially in this new generation.

This is a much needed video these days! I (a millennial) started a self-employed business in high school and still currently continue it! I’ve never been career over family minded, and always embraced femininity. Though still single never been married. My feminists peers are very disgusted and like to attack me (so far in all ways excluding physical) over the years since middle school because I don’t share their views on life and men. Thank you for posting this! It’s nice to at least on the internet find similar minded women! 💖

I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I'm sorry you have been attacked for such things, that isn't right, but to be expected in today's world unfortunately.

@@TheLadyoftheHouse I came to that realization (that such is to be expected in today's world) back during my senior year of high school. I struggle finding likeminded women outside of just relatives and the internet. But it's better then none at all!

Absolutely wonderful and needed. There is nothing wrong with traditional roles and ways. In fact the Bible encourages us to look to the ancient paths. Jeremiah 6:16. There is more life and happiness in roles that are defined, grace given, and love (true agape) given and lived than in positions of power and constant consumption of the world and its ways.

You have outdone yourself! Just lovely! I read the sections of the Epoch Times that deal with home, traditions, health, finances etc. (Not the "news"...too depressing) These are troubled times for certain. Young women & men have been raised by daycare and government run schools teaching boys that they have toxic masculinity and teaching girls to be "fierce". Dictionaries have changed the definition of the words woman & man. A member of our Supreme Court could not define what what a woman is when asked,.. too afraid to insult the woke progressives. Our culture has crumbled and our media is assisting its demise at every turn. Parents: turn off your cell phones!!!! And do one BRAVE thing to help your children. It's scary! You're gonna think of a dozen excuses why you can't do it. Your children will be livid and possibly become physically ill. Your friends & family will say you're radical & mean. Remove thier cell phones. That's it. That's all. Miraculous thing will happen. "Oh but what if there is an emergency...a school shooter or they missed the scool bus or they get sick?" We didn't have cell phones growing up and we somehow were fine. Besides, every other human being around them has one if there really is an emergency. But the 18 hours a day that they were on tiktok would have to be filled with other things like playing with the dog, visiting a neighbor, making a sandwich, kicking a can down the road, reading, walking to the market for thier mom, cleaning thier room, and as an occasional treat...watching an episode of The Waltons on tv with thier family. Think about it. Or, are you really happy with the way your children are developing & acting?

Thank you Lisa! Those are my favorite sections as well. I'm always so grateful for the beautiful, life-giving pieces that are published within, just wonderful! I completely agree about taking away their phones and LOVED your list of what they could do instead 🌹
