He’s one of my favorites, as well Fulton! Yes..he’s very graphic and has so much, “punch”, doesn’t he? I often feel him, while collating! Very pleased to see you enjoy him as a reference, Fulton! And Fulton…that olive green is marvelous! Oh..I’m loving this piece!🌿

The final layer added soo much depth to the print, I love the effect the bristles make when applying the ink with a brush.

I have that Stuart Davis book on my shelf and it's coming down to my desk later for a reminder of his interesting art. Love the colours and the shapes in your print and the brush strokes in the final layer really add a certain something. A wonderful result! Thank you for sharing! Happy New Year.

Very pretty…reminding me of a bright summer garden viewed through a lattice fence. I bet Stuart would love it!

FYI the painting on the other page that you had open in the book is at the Yale University Art Gallery. You could get there by train from NYC, it’s worth a visit if you haven’t been there. Free to get in.

Interesting how the last pull -- is a "finishing" and unites the piece together. I'm hoping you have a video on how to set up the registration. I'll look for it. Thank you. Christina.
Where do you summit submissions to. Love to send you a few on my collages.

Lovely print. Do you use varnish or other product to protect your paintings? Mod podge for example? 😮
@artwhisperer8816 күн бұрын
No, only when I use pastels which is rarely.

Hi Fulton! Is there some way of coating a print so one doesn't have to use glass or clear vinyl? I find the shine on framed and glazed prints spoils the look. As always, a great lesson today. Thank you!

@@sheilamarkham1937 I dislike glossy shine myself! Try using matte varnish. Golden is a very good brand, but use sparingly. Let it dry for a few days before putting anything on top of the print. After that, I recommend using archival interleaving like glassine paper or tissue paper to protect the surface of the artwork.
