They offer distorted image because of the wide angle, technically 8k may allow liner image at lower resolutions, that is needed in some situations particularly when interviewing someone closely.

GoPro was once a leader in the action cameras, now, they seem dead last. Competition is always good for innovation. I had the hero 3, 4,7,8, 10, moved to DJI action 2,and now the action 5 pro.

@@WidyaAsoka I love it! I don’t need to pull out my battery to reset it like my GoPro 🤣. I prefer having better low light features as to lens accessories. Also, I can connect 2 wireless DJI mics.

@@JuiceBiker I think color is subjective. Look at potato jet’s comparison. It made Gene looked like a blue collar worker 🤣 It’s funny how a lower bit rate produce better low light. The DR is also better on the action 5 than a GoPro. DJI confirmed a FW update for higher bit rate.

8k HDR 60 would be nice, and 10 bit. But maybe that is asking to much. Still the Insta360 ace pro has been great so far so its only going to get better.

The Acepro2 Release this Week😊.. But I would say this one goes exactly the same way as the Action5.... It gets muddy

8K is unnecessary for almost everything. So right now the 2 doesn't look like a needed upgrade.

True but it can be handy and the zoom on the Insta does get a boost because it can do 8k. Just depends what its used for.
