I think so as well. just like what DJI is doing with the Action 5 pro.

@lemdemar6054 I have both. The DJI has more consistent image quality but the Ace Pro 2 has more effective audio (noise and wind reduction) and build quality. I've got a video dropping soon with 11 real world tests that show those things.

@TimBrownTown I watched your videos actually, and I am waiting on your comparison. If you were to pick one to keep right now, which would you pick and why? Also, you think the ace pro 2 has a better build quality than the action 5 pro?

@@lemdemar6054 Awesome. My honest take is that the Ace Pro 2 has better build quality than the Action 5. If you are going to be using it to go into the water without a dive housing regularly, I would feel more comfortable recommending the Ace Pro 2, even with the deeper dive rating on the Action 5. My video will show this in detail (has to do with the USB-C door on the Action 5. As far as other considerations, it depends on how you are going to use the camera and what's important to you. I plan on releasing my video tomorrow (hopefully and sorry for the delay as I want to make sure it is up to my standards before it goes public) and I think it will help answer a lot of questions by showing and discussing what I'm seeing and hearning from raw, real-life footage itself. yeah definitely! it took DJI a while after the action 5 was released to start with the firmware updates so I imagine insta360 are working behind the scenes now for an update sooooon. also, I just spotted my favourite ball behind u in ur profile pic 🤩✨

So it’s not just me that looks graceful getting on a hammock? 😂 So, mine finally turned up yesterday and I’m going out filming with it today doing an ebike review. It’s 1 degree here so hoping the fogging issue has been resolved. So, from your review, loving the wider angle view, loving the night mode, loving the mic upgrade, think the battery is under heavier use in the Pro 2 is down to the dual processors. The Pro 2 does look a little blanched out in certain situations and almost overly processed. I’m looking forward to seeing how my video comes out later. By the way, anyone who uses the insta360 GPS remote will have to do a firmware update for it to work with the Pro 2. Brilliant as always dude and thank good you didn’t go full “Buswanker” at the end of the review. 😂 Keep up the good work.

Great video. As owner of the current ace pro 1, i am really wondering if purchasing the new ace pro 2 is really a huge upgrade. If you could choose, which update should insta360 add to the ace pro 2 to make it more appealing and attractive moving forward?

thanks 😎 there’s a few things that need fine tuning for example the image is a little over saturated most of the time so would be good to get it toned down slightly, although I haven’t measured it exactly to the cm I find that the face is still a little blurry when vlogging even tho the minimum focus distance has changed and then just small things like voice enhancement being available when shooting in the low light mode ect. All in all I think this is a more worthy upgrade from the ace pro than the action 5 is from the action 4

Great comparison vlog. Does the clarity zoom work on 1080p, 2k, and 4k? Other videos I've watched so far showcase the zoom while filming in 8k
