Looking to add HD to some 3" micros. Now that you have used both, do you recommend I do a gopro stripdown, or simply buy the Insta360 go ?

It depends, some does not want to strip down. I you are ok with it then go with gopro as u can post process lots of stuff and even record more longer videos.

thx. don't mind stripping a gopro, but concerned about its durability, compared to, say the old session 4,5. any way to make that stripped down gopro6 more durable for freestyle fpv use ?

Use 33 g v instead of 17g, 33g version is more durable as front metal plate still stick to board and can take some hits, 17g version is more fragile. It does not mean it cannot take hits. I have crashed several times and board is still alive.

I wouldn't mount a GoPro on a 3inch man... Your gonna get horrible flight times ... Save your gopro for 5 inch'ers and up . . I use the insta 360 solely for my tinywhoops and 3imch quads

Please recommend some cinewhoops which can be used for making good cinematic videos. I was thinking of the green hornet from iflight and to put a gorpro or insta 360 go. What do u suggest. The Android experience with this cam is the worst . They should have communicated that the cam is made for iOS

You can't even export the videos to library. The app crashes every time. Without the software the cam is unusable.
