Insta360 Link 2C Real Use and Real Problems

Watch this before you buy the Link 2 or 2C, I've been using this webcam for awhile now for my own content on several channels and I'll share some experiences and pains with this camera.

Watching this in trepidation. I got my Link 2 today. I haven't tried recording in 4k yet. Will give it a go and comment later. I'm on WIndows and have an Nvidia card. So it might be OK.

Good to hear it's working for you. I still use it because I reallylike it. Just because I do a lot of online streaming and meetings I choose to lower the resolution. Hopefully the update will help

So would you still recommend this webcam? I'm trying to decide what to buy. It would be best to sort the different issues in the video by sections since its a longer for video. Great video though with good research.

Yes because it still looks appealing with little effort in tuning it. I'm sure updates will help. And thanks for the feedback, definitely looking to improve these.

@ReliableTechforCreators Yeah no problem man! I went ahead and bought one yesterday to replace my HP HD 3100 (14 year old 720p webcam). I figured most of the issues people are experiencing are related to the software. I just worry about the longevity of the gimbal system, but worst case, it just becomes a manual adjustment webcam.

This is unusable on my PC. Threadripper, 64GB RAM, RTX3090 1080P, which vastly outclasses the minimum requirements. There was massive lag on your first vid. Ridiculous that it doesn't support AMD GPUs, monitor resolutions higher than HD, and multiple programs. calling it a 4K camera that cannot operate on a 4K monitor is ridiculous! It doesn't even connect via USB3!! A 2019 mac is WAY below their system specs.
