The tech that is available now, wow! I started recording (mostly music) multitrack audio/video in the 70s. Primitive! I feel lucky to have been able to spend uncountable hours, days, years, editing and tweaking. Being able to provide people with visions, pieces, of their songs and lives. The down side is all I missed while doing so. So much of my family’s lives. I am fortunate they forgive me. So much of that fun work has been lost due to hard drive fails, misplaced tapes and outdated CD backups. I’m feeling a bit of the futility of life. *Sigh*. Still, it’s certainly amazing, and nice of those of you who vlog for our enjoyment. I truly, truly appreciate all the work you put in. I am very happy to see you all getting your efforts to SO many people, it’s astounding.

I Use one GoPro Fusion 360 for my footage in the bike. Now I have one backpack mount that allows a lot of positions. The 360 GoPros doesn't allow mic connection because 360 audio, but you can put in adobe Premiere in pós production. For include the metadata for 360 videos in KZbin I use Spatial Media Metadata Injector in PC.

Several Points: 1) Very nice job with the review for Bikers! I've been considering going 360 to capture Bike footage, and I'm trying to decide between this and the other two cams the company produces. Your review was helpful. 2) I enjoyed seeing you ride Lancaster County! When I was in the states I frequently rode between Harrisburg and Washington. Nice to see the old route again. Currently, I'm in Slovenia mostly doing mountain roads and enjoying it. 3) Great bike choice!!!!!! I'm an ancient biker and recently had to switch to Tricity 300. It works for me in this environment, but I do sorely miss the power and agility of the Tracer. Good luck with your channel!

The hero8 and hero9 media mod got rid of the the need to attach it to the helmet. The new media mod is a case that you attach to the gopro mount. So you can attach you mic and a external powerbank cable. And just run hrs of video till you sd card fills up. The 360 video is avery niche video.

I was thinking about getting one a while back when Samsung's 360 cam was first introduced but you know first gen quality. But the way I figured to mount it was a modded unicorn mount on the side which could flip down to see the face or back up - Boba Fett style

Not sure if they did an update but the shot lab on android has been pretty good, I just got my insta360 ONE R the other day and left it out to do a starlapse it came out really good and worked pretty well once I updated everything, so it should be good now for android users like myself lol 👌 keep it up and please get more shots with this camera, its so cool.

Thank you for an interesting vlog. Sadly as an android user, it doesn't look like it'll be that accessible. How did you find it editing using their software or is there 3rd party that's simpler (go easy I'm a man) to use ? Is it not possible for you to have a link so that you get commission on any sales ? Haha yes spicy boi needs christmas presents! But he got upgraded seats so far so thats a start. As for using the android app, well it's pretty much what I said in the video, it's a little clunky to use and all those cool automatic features like "flash dash" "fly by shot" "stop motion" don't work in the android app, the button to "use this effect" is simply missing LOL so you have nothing to click on like they show in all their iphone tutorials. But if you can also use the desktop studio which is free. I was however able to get the basic shots that you saw me doing in the video using just the android app. I don't really want to do fancy edits on 360 because honestly they give me vertigo and I know it bothers a lot of others too, so I would rather keep the rotations simplistic. Hope that helped a little

Your objectivity and honesty are obvious to us all. As for getting Spicy Boi's name wrong. Mea Culpa. My humble apologies. A proper suspension set up by Dave Moss, would be a great present and allow you to fully enjoy him, don't forget your Kawasaki, they can get very jealous.

So, with that red battery base (they have a boosted battery base that comes separate) you can get like 70 minutes shooting at 4k 60fps they say. I was doing 5.7k at 30fps and after about 30 mins of recording I was at 82% so I think it would last longer at lower FPS (even if resolution is higher) but you will run out of memory card space (at least I would...with 64gb) before you ran out of battery

I would love to see your thoughts on the one R vs the regular guy, the regular is hard to beat, I wanted the one r to be worth it to me but after trying both I couldn’t justify it over the Norma one so I use a GoPro + the standard 360

Thanks for this video Lali! I recently purchased the 1-inch lens still awaiting the 360 dual mods and have done a couple of videos of our group rides as well 😀 Android user here too and It's not as simple as it should be editing those videos from my phone! Worst part is, it kept crashing over and over without auto saving my work..I had to combine my clips and finish using a different app just to get everything done. Hopefully insta360 can help us Android users edit with ease like those using ios. Ride safe! 😎

It sounded like it wasn’t using your microphone and it was using a microphone in the camera, if there is one.

there is ...but there is a mic icon that comes on screen when you plug in an external mic, and it was definitely on the screen when I was recording. I had that same thought too, that it might be using the camera mic instead of my lapel inside the helmet but that wasn't the case :/
