Insta360 One RS review - A perfect all in one action cam?

I'm a massive fan of Insta. Got two 360 ONEX2's and the tiny Go2. Been using one of X2's in single lens as my helmet cam. Do you think I could get better quality from this camera? Certainly would look better on my helmet. Do not understand one of the other comments below regarding Gopro reliability. I've had appallingly bad reliability with all my Gopros (along with many other users) Insta hasn't let me down yet and much better battery life.

Yep, I've had freezing issues with both my Hero 9 & 10, but none yet with this or the one X2

I had a couple of them, they shut down randomly. Touch interface is a pain to use. Sold them and bought GoPro’s.

I have to admit Ive had Gopro Hero 9 and 10's freeze on me more than these have. The One RS hasn't done it at all yet

Two questions. What settings are you using to record (ex: 4k/24fps)? Are you editing w/their SW first before using Premiere Pro or Full Cut? I ask the 1st question because the tree leaves in your video today are quite clear, while my footage with GoPro's always looks very muddy @4k/24fps. YT really crushes my videos. Thank you.

Yes generally 4k at 24fps. 360 video i edit in Insta360 studio, then into final cut

aiming for those 360 cameras, love the new one with full frame sensor, but the price is way to steep for me at the moment.... nice overview, thnx V!

I think i've got a 32gb card in it? which is about 1.5 hours of 360 video at 5.7K

Yep good point, i'm getting over a hour of total recording time roughly. Editing directly on a phone does really chew the battery out though.

I know this comment is a bit late, but after watching this video I'm thinking this Insta360 One RS 4k is going to be way better than the GoPro hero 8 I'm looking at getting for a very similar price. Would you agree?

I think you're right, this is a newer model than the hero8 obviously and it has some decent functionality. the ability to shoot 360 is also a massive bonus
