Wow, the camera performance is so good! It was very windy, but the microphone did not record any wind noise.

The insta360 on board microphone is pretty terrible and I think the XTU managed to isolate the voice better, but once the mic was plugged in, the insta360 was waaaay better. The max 2 is a surprisingly good camera given its price🖖

I'm not even interested in these kind of cameras, but I've watched it anyways 😂 Hats off for that diy with the two cameras setting!! It's me or one image is more light than the other. I mean the sky is "more blue" with the Insta360.

Yeah the insta360 has a much more contrasty and saturated image but I expect that’s just the difference between the standard profiles in these two. They were both in auto exposure so I’m guessing the XTU goes for a balanced exposure whereas the insta360 seems to protect the highlights. Thanks for watching🖖

Wonder if the audio would be better with a wireless lav mic? I've used cheap lav mics before and they really don't do a good job at all!

I spoke to them and apparently they do make a wireless mic for it, but the usb-c one is what’s in the box. The audio isn’t a big deal for me as I usually record externally with action cams but it’s a bit lacking for those who want a one and done setup and as you heard compared to the insta360, there was a huge difference. As I recall, the first time I tried to connect it kinda hung and didn’t connect but after closing the app and trying again it worked no problem. I didn’t have any further connection issues so I’m not sure what to suggest other than double check that the phone isn’t blocking it. Sorry I can’t be more help

Colour looks kind of flat, can you change that on the camera itself to like vivid or something.?😊😊Otherwise looks decent..

Yeah there are other profiles in there. I just chose the standard one because I like having a flat picture to start with (I usually shoot log profiles for video). I think the insta360 looks better out of the camera with the standard profile, but with a bit of work in post they look good🖖

Iff I would follow all the "professional" photographers on the Social Media, I can buy every 3 days a new camera and new lenses. Stick by what you have unless you're not satisfied. But these days factory's don't make shit stuff!!!!

As I said in the video, it looks very much like a flat profile you’d use if you intended to do colour work in post. There are other profiles in there that are more saturated and contrasty

That applies in some cases, but then I think of the reason I ended up with the insta360 one rs. My intended purchase was the Dji action 2 which was at the time 30% more expensive and after receiving 2 of them, both of which bricked because of a terrible app and registration issues, I decided to forget Dji altogether and go with something that actually worked, enter the One RS for a much lower price. Old sayings are old
