Great video, good job ! Can you transfer directly to a latest gen phone videos from any SD card using the insta360 X4 USB quick reader ? Even if the videos come from the SD card of osmo pocket 3 for example ? (the app would not be needed there)

Yes, you can remove the micro sd card from your insta360x3 camera and put it inside the insta360 quick reader and connect it to your iphone to transfer your data

Thank you for show up close connections and unpacking. I got one too. With comp., included my MacBook Pro even camera directly connected without reader, file transfer no problem. It's NOT working with iPad with USB C connecter unfortunately...and its shame.

Cool video, well done. I bought it but my google pixel phone does not support exFAT unfortunately. Can i use it instead for faster data transfer to my laptop if i plug it in directly to my laptop ?

I believe that there is an insta software for laptop/desktop which has some extra function compared to the tablet or phone Insta app. I haven't use the desktop software so I don't know much about it but the Insta app is very easy to use :)

Hi Mr Bong, you will need this Insta360 Quick Reader to view your files in the Insta360 app on your iPhone. I have tried using another card reader with my Samsung phone and tablet but it did not work, and according to Insta360, the quick reader is the best way to view and transfer data

What's the diffrence if by using a USB micro USB chip reader, is it the same as a quik reader?

I tried using a micro usb multi card and usb but it did not work. You'll have to use the Insta360x3 quick reader if you want to transfer your data directly to your phone or tablet

The insta360x3 quick reader has a lightning plug which is compatible with iphone. You can plug the insta360x3 quick reader directly to your iphone to transfer your photos/ videos to the Insta360 App. You won't need an extra iphone sd card reader. Hope that helps

Hi Dan and everybody. Would anybody know if you can plug it into your Iphone then connect a USB C Extension cable to the C plug on the Quick Reader, then plug the other end into a USB power plug. If this could be done, would it charge the phone or keep it charged whilst editing? Has anybody done this?

The quick reader connects and works with my samsung phone and I think it should work with other Android smart phones as well. The insta360 store mentioned that the Insta360x3 Quick Reader is "Compatible with iPhone and Android"
