I wholeheartedly agree: it’s a creative camera. I did not get it for peak quality video. It’s a ultrawide angle / 360 device. I wouldn’t expect a sdof like experience or anything like that. The editing afterwards is what gives this form factor real life in my opinion. I love using this in my travel vids, although I’ve used on only one trip 😅. It was super fun though!

imho: controlling it using the screen only is a small pain in the ass. i have a gopro max, and after the software castration , it was time to move on, and the X4 not only has everything what was removed from the max app, the things what it can do is impressive. ok, the app it self needs some modern phone hardware, but the things you can do is amazing, i never could do that with the max app...

Hey, mate! Looking for something that can record two different perspectives at the same time (think: comedy show - the performer and the audience). How long can this camera record for in the mode which shoots both perspectives at the same time? Can it do two separate videos from each camera, or is it the same as just recording in 360 and then choosing your perspective in editing? For example, instead of shooting an 8K 360 video, can I shoot two 1080p videos with both cameras at the same time?

You can record with both lenses and make a video in the app the is half from one lens and half from the other

Thank you for this round-up. BTW what did happen to the white balance of your video? Was there quick changing daylight getting into your studio or is it the auto white balance of your studio camera?

I noticed the same and believe he has a color-changing LED light being used off-camera.
