Thanks, yours is actually the third video I loaded up. The other two were bumbling men who talked way more than they worked, a lot of time wasted and super-extra-over explaining and commentary. Yours was quite succinct and simply made. EVEN had some good dog entertainment there with the lizard. My gal was quite interested in the lizard and your dogs. The old pup is zonked out right now (he's 18). I've got the 220 unit on order and have to pull some new wire, but that's no big step as I've done it before. Cannot wait to replace my noisy, slow, ineffective window units and have a cool dry home in Summertime. Plus I'll have some heat other than a wood stove. I'll check out your P2 and maybe see what else you've uploaded. Cheers

Nice install job. I’m looking to install this in my M-I-L’s house. All the 100v units I’ve seen require 25 amps. Typical outlets are 15 amps max (maybe 20). Does it ever trip the circuit (especially with other appliances connected)?

Hello there, IMO, these days they all seem pretty much the same, made in the same place, and then labeled for the retailer. Again, just my opinion. Recently, I have purchased two units off FB market, and they are working great. They plug directly into a 110v 15amp outlet, and I only spent 350 each.

Let us know if you get a leak. Most of these systems specify torque settings for the flare connections, but I haven't invested in a torque wrench yet so have done it by feel on the 4 I have done. I've errored on the side of making it tighter than probably necessary. It's bad if the refrigerant ever leaks. If it leaks inside the home, it falls to the ground and begins to fill the room towards the ceiling. It's also terrible stuff for accelerating global warming when it gets into the atmosphere.
