Which color wire was in and which wire was out on the handle bar switch when you spliced it?

Hook it in with the red battery lead per the instructions

Quick question for you, I am currently in the middle of installing this winch in my UTV. Does the white wire with the loop connector connect to the middle screw, or does it connect to the red post on the solenoid? The install instructions are alittle unclear on diagram.

You should add an on/off switch on the main power so it not on 24/7 will help with battery life in the future
