The connector is keyed. You can only connect it one way.

I purchased the projector piece you showed to install but when I remove the caps from the door all I see is an empty hole where you plugged in the wiring. I have a 2018 accord LX. How do I get the the insert installed to I can get a light source for the projector? Thanks

@@antsocold5884 I think only the Touring and EXL come pre wired. Otherwise you have to buy the wiring and open up the door and route to the fuse box.

It's a micro film inside and can be removed, but you can't buy any replacement micro film.

The best way to be sure if it fits is take off the light you have on your car and see if it uses this style of light. If it has the same shape, then it will fit.

You can go by the model generation which yours is 2011-2017. You can also pull out the light you have and if it looks the same as the one in this video, then it will fit.
