I Bought the Haloview RD7 to replace a camera system from Furrion Vision S that had significant drop out issues. Installation was not a problem - powering the camera off the top rear marker light. Swapped out the old mounting brackets for the new ones and ran the transmission cable up to the front of my 26 foot long camper. Mounted the transmitter with liberal amounts of RTV/Silicon. Got the monitor hooked up in the cab, powered it up and turned on the marker lights. The camera and monitor paired automatically and provided me a terrific view of my back yard - as expected. Finally got to road test it this past weekend on a short camping trip - about 50 miles one way. Camera performed flawlessly the whole way - didn't notice a single drop out and had very little, if any flicker. Decent field of view as well. I can see cars within about 20 feet of my rear bumper and can pick up the entire lane of expressway on either side at about 40 feet back. I am VERY satisfied with the performance of this system so far. Big test will be next month with a 1000 mile trip coming up. Looking forward to it.

The Furrion I have not seen drop out issues with unless there was a defective part and we use them on 45' toy haulers but hey if you got something that works great -JR

2018 coachmen 373mbrb just decided to hook up my fairy on backup camera the other day so I pulled the plastic cover that comes from the manufacturer off and I hooked both wires up that are ran because they are pre-ran for a furion backup camera anyway both wires seem to be hot one is supposed to be a ground however when I hook up the camera it shorts out all the lights in the back.

The 7 way adapter for monitoring, does that run to the battery on the RV? Is that sold or something you have to make?

I have this system on a grand design 17MKE that I live in and I’d like to be able to use it without having to be hooked up to my truck. What do I need to do to go about that. I’d really like the side marker cameras to be on the motion detect function

Should not be too hard. Power is already there. Remove old mounting bracket. Butyl tape. Install new camera. RV seal around outside of camera frame. Rock and Roll -JR

Is there a video that actually shows you attaching the wires - what goes where? The instructions are a little vague.

@@KeystoneRVCenter Wish you had covered the wiring on the side cameras better. I know they can vary, but you could have told us which wire is ground and power.
