Can I convert my existing globe prepaid sim into Esim? I wanna retain my old number. Is that possible?

Yes, it's possible but you will be required to switch to a postpaid plan. So same number, eSIM, but now it will be postpaid.

If magpapa convert po kayo from physical SIM to eSIM need po pumunta sa Globe store for assistance sa conversion. Kung prepaid eSIM lang and ok lang sa Inyo to use a random number for the eSIM, you can just purchase via the app.

Thanks for this. If I will need a travel esim in the future, would I have to deactivate/delete my existing Globe prepaid esim?

If you plan on using it again, you can just turn it off the profile that you don't need while overseas. No need to delete it. You can have multiple eSIMs installed but can only have 2 active profiles, at least that is what's available for me, I'm on iPhone 14 Plus, so I'm not sure if it's different with the higher/newer models.

You will need to go to a globe store and request for the conversion to eSIM of your existing postpaid plan.

Hi @MrCZARIANNE be sure to check your spam folder and if it's still not there, contact Globe's customer service or visit the nearest Globe store for further assistance.

The short answer is yes. However, If you will be using an existing number for your eSIM, you need to go to the nearest Globe store to request for the conversion to eSIM.

I receive email from purchace of globe esim but i there is no esim installed?

Which installation option did you choose when you purchased? QR or direct install to your phone? If you chose QR, you should receive the QR code in your email, but if you chose direct, the installation should have taken place right away. If for some reason it did not install successfully, check the email that you received for the QR code and try using that method. And if the QR is also missing, the best next move is to contact Globe's customer service for further assistance.

Sorry to hear that, i know it’s such a hassle. But Best thing to do is to visit the nearest globe store to resolve it for sure.

I was not able to receive QR code incase I lost my phone. is there a way for iphone to generate QR code?

Hi @janjoy0529 Try checking your spam folder as it may have been diverted there. If you still don't see it in there, you will have to contact Globe's customer service. Unfortunately, generating the QR code is not supported in the app at this time. The QR code is sent only via email.

There’s another one with the same issue, 15 pro yung unit nya. No update if it was resolved. I’ll let you know if they let us know if it’s fixed

I've received multiple messages regarding this compatibility issue. I'm inclined to believe that it's got something to do with the recent iOS update. But will check with Globe CS and see what I can find out.

@@TheFreelanceChannel there's an option to get esim for another phone, they can use that to purchase their esim even though the globe one app says that their phone is not compatible, just click "get esim" and then proceed with the instructions

Hi Erica, unfortunately, you can't create a new QR code. You need to contact Globe's customer service for assistance para matulungan ka sa pag transfer.

Hello sir, sa ngayon, ang conversion from physical SIM to eSIM is only possible if you visit a Globe store. Hopefully in the future this will be possible online.

Kulang pa to, dapat pakita mo kung gumagana ba talaga, pakita mo yung signal or nagload ginamit mo yung mobile data malakas ba sya kumpara mo sa physical sim..
